**About the Opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as an **Supply Manager - Import / Private Label / Tobacco** who will be responsible for managing the team responsible for optimal stock availability for Metcash retail and wholesale customers on direct imported & local products through effective order management, and management of import freight.
**In this Role**
- Strong end to end demand management of import and local products
- Integration between supplier capability, Metcash event planning, and service and stock targets
- Cost mínimalization focus (including assisting in the negotiation of tenders)
- Provide input into the strategic and tactical plans for Demand and Supply and ensure these are applied in International Supply Chain
- Own and manage the relationship with freight forwarders including the management of the international freight tender process
- Represent Metcash Food in New Line Governance and ensure all new lines meet the strict guidelines for occupying pick locations
**You're Likely a Match If**
- Experience or understanding of Demand Planning in an FMCG environment
- Proven experience as a people manager with a strong focus on team development and performance
- Background in FMCG, with preferred experience in import/export operations
- Proficient in using Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
- Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience working within or alongside complex supply chains
