About the role
We currently have a position available for a Graduate Engineer within the Overhead Lines team in Adelaide.
Role scope
* Assisting with the preparation of proposals
* Site surveys and measurements
* Project preliminary design
* Project detailed design including calculations and preparation of design details
* Project documentation including drawings, specifications, reports and contract documentation
* Engineering analysis and calculations
* Development and review of engineering reports
* Contract management assistance
* Construction observations
* Liaison with Clients, Suppliers, and other project stakeholders
* Project management in accordance with agreed safety, quality, cost and time expectations
About you
This is a great opportunity for someone to join us who is proactive, diligent, motivated and customer focused and has a highly personable manner.
You could be a graduate or already have a few years' experience, either way it will be your eagerness to learn and commitment to contribute to engineering for a better future that will find you a place on our team.
We are looking for the following skills & experience:
* A tertiary qualification in Structural engineering
* Excellent data analysis and problem solving skills
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in the use of the MS Office suite
* A professional and pragmatic approach to work
* The ability to work in a team and on your own
* Willingness to travel for site work
* A full drivers licence
