QMAG offers a career in the resources industry while allowing, a home every night family focus while living in a coastal climate. We are seeking an Apprentice Boilermaker to join QMAG Pty Limited. At successful completion of your Apprenticeship, you will obtain a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication.
About You
You will be a passionate, eager, and motivated Apprentice Boilermaker who is wanting to commence their career in an organization where you will gain valuable experience from our mining operations and processing plant.
The Role
As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will gain exposure to and participate in:
* Participate in shutdowns, breakdowns and repairs of critical equipment, including fault finding, root cause analysis, general problem-solving and activities
* Grow skills in metal fabrication tasks
* Develop competencies in raising work orders and other documentation
* Work with other trades performing a variety of tasks as required by operational requirements
* Gain understanding of industry Health and Safety compliance
