Position: Business Services Accountant
Location: Jetty Road, Glenelg SA
Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-time applicants will be considered)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver business services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including SMEs and entrepreneurs
* Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards
* Prepare income tax returns, BAS, FBT, and GST for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
* Provide tax planning and advisory services to help clients optimise their tax positions
* Conduct financial analysis and assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Liaise directly with clients, providing clear and practical advice on business structures, compliance, and regulatory obligations
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, is a must
* Minimum 1 years' experience in public practice - taxation
* Technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
* Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
* CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is desirable
