Job Opportunity: Assistant Asset Technician
This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technical skills to support asset management.
* Maintain and update Council's asset database and create custom reports and documentation.
* Manage data entry for new and existing assets into Council's Geographic Information System (GIS).
* Provide support to the Asset System Administrator and Asset Technician.
To succeed in this position, applicants should have:
* A professional certification in asset management or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of mapping and database software.
* Proven experience using Microsoft Office products.
* An understanding of GIS and GPS principles.
* General knowledge of asset management practices.
* A current NSW Class C driver's license.
* A General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
