In this role, you'll:
Reporting into the Data Operations Manager, the Operations Administrator will be responsible for supporting the management and maintenance of high quality data and data systems for operational and strategic reporting, and for providing advice on the use of operational data and reporting systems. Additionally, the role assists with translating business requirements into dataset enhancements, and reporting tools for internal and external customers.
This role requires managing multiple work streams simultaneously while maintaining responsive and effective communication with stakeholders. You will be able to translate complex data into clear, accessible information for a diverse range of audiences. You will also work confidently with complex and varied datasets across multiple systems, balancing accuracy with delivery timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities include (not limited to):
* Managing and maintaining high quality data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
* Translating business requirements into datasets, reports, and insights
* Extracting, analysing, and interpreting data using business intelligence tools
* Responding to ad hoc data requests and maintaining clear documentation and metadata
*Note, internally this role is officially named a Data Administrator.
This is a fixed-term flexible hybrid role until 31 December 2026.

About you
For you to be successful within this role you should meet with all, or most of the following criteria:
* 2+ years' experience performing a similar role, as described above
* Must have worked with data, e.g., data collection/checking data quality/interpreting datasets etc.
* Demonstrated experience using SQL to query, analyse, and manage data
* Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and basic data visualisation
* Soft skills must include the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, self-starter, and a curious mindset
Nice to Haves:
* Professional qualification pertaining to data analytics
Given that this role is very specialised, you will receive very specialised training when onboarding. That will require you to present at the office 3-4 days for the first four weeks.
Thereafter, you will spend two days from our offices at Macquarie Park. The hours associated with this position are 7am – 2pm.
