We are seeking an SCM Procurement Specialist to fill a critical role in our organization. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing procurement duties associated with supplier on-boarding, quotation, negotiation, and purchase order placement.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
* Investigating potential suppliers for direct parts and repair services;
* Identifying and addressing shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements;
* Expediting quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and achievement of corporate key performance indicators (KPIs);
* Preparing import and export permits;
* Providing administrative support for the Online Travel Booking System;
* Monitoring Supply Chain Management generic email inbox and distributing correspondence accordingly.
To succeed in this role, applicants must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience dealing with export/import and trade compliance requirements. Additionally, they should possess demonstrated experience in cost analysis, proposal negotiations, expediting, and shortage management.
