We are looking for experienced Electronic Appliance Repair Technicians to join a well-established appliance repair company based in Melbourne. The company services Australia wide in both metro and regional locations, servicing a wide range of brands of appliances including both domestic and commercial equipment.
Responsibilities
* Carry out testing, maintenance and repairs on various brand appliances in commercial and residential environments
* Check for correct connection of appliances
* Install safety switches
* Test electrical circuits
* Install all appliances as required
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults in appliances
* Service electrical appliances as per specification
* Identify faulty parts, order and replace
Required For the Role
* Formal qualification in Appliance Servicing or similar related qualification
* A minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and installing electrical appliances and equipment
* Ability to think clearly, with strong problem solving skills
* Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
* Willingness to learn
* Commitment to adhering to safe work practices
* Able to work independently, and as part of a team
