About this Role
We are seeking a sales professional to join our team in Sydney as a Key Account Manager. As part of the Sales team, this role will focus on designated company key customers within a designated Food Service category.
This position requires excellent customer relationship skills to maintain competitive positioning and ensure trust to continue to grow Cargill's share.
The successful candidate will handle critical and complex products and conduct face-to-face and remote sales with new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining current and new account relationships and meeting personal sales targets.
Accountabilities
* Developing business plans for each account to establish strong customer relationships.
* Providing input to planning product, price, and service strategies through strong customer relationships.
* Protecting, growing, and diversifying the relationship with targeted customers.
* Monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
* Handling complex issues independently with minimal supervision.
About You
The ideal candidate is an experienced and proactive sales professional seeking a unique opportunity to grow a region, with proven B2B sales success.
A Bachelor's degree in Food Science or relevant field experience is required, along with previous experience in a similar role in a complex sales environment.
A sound knowledge of effective sales and a business development mind-set, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work autonomously are also essential.
