The Role The purpose of the IT asset and configuration lead is to ensure that IT assets are seamlessly managed and delivered to the Uniting AgeWell organisation. This role will: Ensure all IT Assets are managed in accordance with governance and cost efficiency principles throughout their lifecycle. Ensure the accuracy of IT asset and configuration data to support decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency. Hands-on role, will also provide direct technical support to our staff, acting as a key resource to assist in resolving daily IT issues. You will play an active role within the UA team, participating in building a community-based culture that fosters a spirit of the BEST way of life, supporting our people to be their best, give their best and help our community to live their best. Day to Day Responsibilities Maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors Manage the entire lifecycle of all IT hardware and software assets from procurement and deployment to retirement and disposal. Management of vendors and ensure KPI's are delivered within agreed measures with regular reporting Maintain a complete and accurate IT asset register and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This includes Asset documentation of physical (all routers/switches/laptop/phone) and logical systems. As well as software licenses, subscriptions and policies Regularly assess customer feedback and using creativity to establish, improve and refine network application services Build partnerships and liaising with team members to determine services, delivery criteria and solutions for network services that may arise Track software licenses to ensure renewal compliance and version control, avoiding unnecessary costs and legal risks Conduct regular physical and data audits to ensure the accuracy of the asset register and provide regular reports on asset status, value, and compliance to management. Address organisational blockers by helping to define and document the relationships between technology and the services they support, a current challenge for the organization Review and develop Asset and compliance reports to ensure governance across all IT assets Manage the provisioning and de-provisioning of IT equipment (laptops, mobile devices) and user accounts for new and departing employees, helping support engineers to remedy. Qualifications & Experience Required Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications. Proficient with EUC devices, applications and systems Knowledge of hardware, software, and operating systems. Knowledge of licensing and CMDB Proven customer service skills. Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail. Experience with modern Microsoft operating systems and cloud infrastructure systems. Knowledge of ITIL, particularly Change, Asset and Configuration, preferably completing ITIL foundation certification. Excellent presentation skills and attention to detail. Capacity and flexibility to cope effectively with a diverse and demanding work agenda. Capacity to effectively manage competing priorities and strict deadlines Highly motivated, energetic, outcome focused with innovative approach to your work. A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check (PRC) is required prior to commencement. Working With Children Check (VIC) or Registration to work with Vulnerable People (TAS).
