Cammeraygal High School is a dynamic, comprehensive, coeducational 7‐12 dual‐campus school, with the two campuses located at Pacific Highway and West Street, Crows Nest. Specific Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated capacity to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative PDHPE faculty programming for Years 7‐12, with the capacity to effectively engage a diverse range of learners.
* Capacity to lead staff with diverse teaching experience and to work as an integral member of the school executive.
* Demonstrated ability to establish a cohesive culture and to effectively manage the teaching and learning challenges inherent in a multi‐campus comprehensive high school.
* Capacity to provide effective leadership, management, and oversight of the whole‐school sports program, ensuring its consistent and efficient operation in alignment with departmental policies and school priorities.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programmes.
* Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
