We are looking for an experienced
Supply Chain Manager
to oversee and manage our end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with a strong background in logistics, procurement, and inventory management. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods, services, and information, while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive improvements across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
* Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery and quality control.
* Monitor and analyze key supply chain metrics (e.g., inventory turnover, lead times, order fulfillment) and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
* Collaborate with the procurement team to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
* Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance management.
* Manage and resolve supply chain disruptions or delays, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential supply chain risks.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations, leveraging best practices, technology, and process optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management or logistics.
* Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and best practices.
* Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Leadership experience with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a team effectively.
* Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, and logistics processes.
* Familiarity with supply chain risk management and mitigation strategies.
Desirable Skills (Bonus):
* Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CIPS).
* Experience with international logistics and global supply chain management.
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Experience with sustainable supply chain practices and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
* Exposure to advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, or blockchain in supply chain optimization.
* Fluency in additional languages is a plus for working with global suppliers and teams.
