Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with electrical systems and wants to be part of a dynamic and growing organization.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, ensuring that all work is done safely and efficiently. You will also be expected to diagnose and recommend repair methods, as well as complete hazardous area and gas system installation and maintenance work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safety First: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with site health, environmental and community policies, systems and procedures.
* Electrical Maintenance: Complete planned and breakdown maintenance on a wide range of electrical and instrumentation equipment, including high voltage repairs.
* Problem Solving: Diagnose and recommend repair methods for electrical equipment.
* Hazardous Area Work: Complete hazardous area and gas system installation and maintenance work.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and eliminate equipment failures and contribute to site safety culture.
Requirements:
* Certifications: Current Queensland Electrical Licence and Certificate III in Instrumentation (preferred).
* Experience: Demonstrated experience in fixed plant maintenance and commitment to safety systems and participation in site safety programs.
* Skills: Ability to make sound judgments to ensure plant integrity is maintained at all times and demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a team and autonomously manage your workload.
