Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Room Attendant include:
* Changing bed linen and making beds
* Replacing used towels
* Sweeping and mopping floors
* Scrubbing bathrooms and toilets
* Vacuuming carpets
* Dusting furniture
* Replenishing bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
* Restocking beverages and food items in the mini-bar
* Cleaning public areas, like corridors
* Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
* Addressing guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)
* Helping guests retrieve lost items
* Ensuring all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
* Following hotel security guidelines
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is a plus.
* Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with others.
