Job Description:
The role involves delivering hands-on patient care, collaborating with doctors on chronic disease management plans and wellness programs, and engaging patients in their health journey. You will also have opportunities to participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the growth and success of the island practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care, including wound management, immunisations, health checks, and preventive services
* Collaborate with doctors on chronic disease management plans and wellness programs
* Deliver health education and guidance to empower patients in managing their health
* Engage with patients in a diverse and inclusive environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* An Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse qualification
* Current AHPRA registration
* At least 2 years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting
* Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with patients
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to patient care
