Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our sales team. As a key member of the branch in Mackay, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office.
About the Role
In this hybrid position, you will be responsible for providing face-to-face customer service, managing sales and data entry, scheduling deliveries, overseeing stock reorders, preparing orders within the yard, general FL Operation, and maintaining overall organization within the branch.
Responsibilities
* Primary contact for both employees and external stakeholders.
* Processing invoices, credit card payments, banking, and office supply purchases.
* Receipting purchase orders and raising purchase requisitions.
* Submitting vendor requests and processing changes.
* Ordering office stationery and ensuring the office is well-stocked.
* Handling general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Processing and directing both incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
* Assisting in the Yard when required with duties such as preparing orders and FL Operation.
Requirements
* A solid background in administration and office support roles.
* Forklift (LF) Licence.
* Building materials or similar industry experience (highly regarded).
