About Mushroom Creative House:
Mushroom Creative House, part of the Mushroom Group family, is a creative agency and production company that creates 'unforgettable' content, events and experiences for our clients.
The Studio is the very heart of Mushroom Creative House. It's the centre point through which all work is channelled; both from the wider Mushroom Group including labels, artist management and tours and events, and from external clients such as Spotify, lululemon and H&M. Always with a music or culture lens.
MCH Studio produces everything from large-scale live capture for Dom Dolla to festival content for CMC Rocks, from brand development logo designs for new festivals, to album cover designs for Vance Joy, from global content creation with McLaren F1 Team to advertising campaign content for Honda – all of it comes through our Studio and is expertly managed, resourced and guided by the Producer.
About the role:
The Producer is responsible for taking the agreed creative idea and working with our clients and internal team to bring the idea to life across key channels. We're looking for someone that has process down to a fine art, who loves the pace of the music and entertainment industry, is cool and calm under pressure, and who is equally comfortable to be a team player or work autonomously.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience, that is ready to take more of a lead role as part of a highly skilled, tight knit team who has the privilege of working with some of the biggest global artists and the most reputable Australian brands
This is a full-time role, working out of our South Melbourne office.
Responsibilities include:
* Take the creative idea and bring it to life, keeping with the wishes of the client and the creative agency team.
* Develop a full and holistic understanding of each project, ensuring the production requirements are scoped, costed and tracked accurately.
* Resourcing projects with appropriate skills and fully understand the Studio team's capacity – flagging issues and creating alternative plans early.
* Problem solve to resolve production issues as they arise.
* Ensure clients are kept informed and supported at all times.
* Effectively manage projects and stakeholders from project inception to completion.
* Effectively communicate with broader team to ensure everyone in the team is kept fully informed of operational requirements and timelines.
* Complete general finance management for each of their projects, including accurately costing all requirements and deliverables, managing scope changes, invoicing, and reconciling upon completion.
* Working with the Mushroom Creative House leadership team and the relevant personnel in each business to identify new business opportunities.
Sounds like you? If so, you will have the following:
* Min 3+ years' experience in content producing (agency, in-house or production co environment preferable) that shows a thorough technical understanding of the end-to-end production lifecycle.
* Meticulous attention to detail and strong knowledge of best practice processes throughout the entire production lifecycle.
* Understanding of videography, photography and design processes.
* Experience working in entertainment, sports, film or similar is seen as highly advantageous
* Passion for the Music and creative industry.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with team and management.
* Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and work with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail or quality of work.
* Ability to adhere to a project timeline and manage multiple stakeholders.
* High level of professionalism in dealing with company and/or artist information.
