Our client, a dynamic force in electrical and control systems, is hunting for a passionate Control Systems Engineer to join their close-knit crew. You'll tackle hands-on challenges, delivering tailor-made solutions for Tier 1 clients in sectors like oil & gas, power generation, renewables, water, building management systems (BMS), and government projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing, developing, maintaining, and programming new and existing industrial automation systems - from greenfield setups through to brownfield upgrades.
* Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to craft practical, fit-for-purpose engineering masterpieces.
* Spotting and reporting risks, hazards, and safety issues like a pro.
* Hunting for innovative tools and techniques to boost efficiency and productivity.
* Staying ahead of the curve with the latest vendor tech, industry trends, and best practices.
About You
You're not just an engineer; you're a field-ready dynamo - flexible, autonomous, and obsessed with delivering top-tier results on time. With a solid foundation in Control Systems Engineering, you'll crush deadlines and solve on-site puzzles with ease.
Must-haves:
* Relevant Engineering Degree (because basics matter).
* Proven experience in functional designs and specification development.
* Mastery of SCADA and HMI configuration.
* Deep knowledge of PLC platforms like Rockwell (including View SE), Allen Bradley, Citect, Miri Telemetry, and Ignition.
* Expertise in safety systems to keep everything running smoothly and securely.
* Hands-on background in greenfield design of automation systems.
* Sharp skills in troubleshooting, fault-finding, and commissioning automation systems, instrumentation, and VSDs.
