They are currently overseeing the construction and delivery of multiple transmission substations in regional NSW as part of a signature energy transition project, ranging from 330kV to 500kV, which is among the largest of its kind in Australia. About your new job: You will be responsible for guiding the construction and delivery of greenfield HV transmission substation projects. Key to success in the role will be your ability to manage effective relationships with vital stakeholders and subcontractors, as well as coordinating with internal technical teams to ensure timely and secure project delivery. Further key responsibilities include: • Overseeing the planning, organisation and management of project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. • Collaborating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders. • Ensuring adherence to technical standards, specifications, codes, and regulations. • Delivering the project within the defined schedule and budget. • Upholding compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements. • Leading, supervising, and supporting the project team. • Preparing and delivering progress reports, risk analyses, and post-project evaluations. • Addressing and resolving issues, conflicts, or disputes throughout the project lifecycle. About you: Ideally you will have: • A Degree in Electrical Engineering • A minimum of 10 years experience in project management in construction and delivery, ideally within the energy sector. • Strong organisational, communication, and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to manage HV substation (up to 500kV) projects from planning to delivery. • Experience in contract management and the ability to simplify technical information. • Degree in project management, business, or a related field. • Knowledge of the Australian electricity market, relevant regulations and exposure to enterprise agreements.
