Job Description - Mechanical Fitter (265635)# | | || --- | --- || Mechanical Fitter-265635 **T****he Opportunity** This is a hands-on role giving you the opportunity to work on technically challenging systems, long term stability and skill development in a structured environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your primary focus will be diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining our critical assets and equipment, such as fuel storage and fuel transfer systems. **Hours:** 38-hour work week in a 'blue collar' role supporting a strong work-life balance. Monday - Thursday: 6:30am - 3pm Friday - 6:30am - 1pm \*EARLY FINISH ON A FRIDAY\* There's also the option to do a week of travel each month to remote sites, where you'll do 12-hour days and pick up decent overtime (time + half for first 2 hours, then double time). **Requires** * Relevant mechanical trade qualifications * Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or Oil & Gas preferred) * Confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred) * Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
