NQ Tactiles is a North Queensland-based safety and accessibility specialist. We supply and install TGSIs, stair nosing, car park accessories, and hardscape products for builders, councils, developers, and asset owners across the region. We're growing and looking for a switched-on installer to join the team.
The role You'll be on the tools every day, installing:
* Tactile Ground Surface Indicators (TGSI)
* Stair nosing
* Bollards, wheel stops, speed humps
* Modular rails and other hardscape items
* Safety, accessibility, and wayfinding products
Most jobs involve concrete drilling, surface prep, and precise layouts to Australian Standards. You'll work autonomously on site, manage your tools and vehicle, run on-site safety, and own installation compliance from start to finish.
Who we're looking for
* Strong on the tools with a genuine eye for detail
* Experience with concrete drilling (essential)
* Exceptional communication — you'll be the link between site, office, and customer, calling through scope changes, spec clarifications, and site conditions clearly and early
* Trusted to work autonomously and make sound calls on the ground
* Open driver license
* White Card
* Reliable, professional, takes ownership
Ideal but not essential
* Landscaping experience
* Concreting experience
* Flooring experience
* Familiarity with AS/NZS 1428 or accessibility compliance
