As an Acquisitions and Disposals Analyst, you’ll play a handson role in progressing property acquisitions and disposals across a diverse project portfolio. Working closely with Acquisition and Disposal Managers, you’ll influence investment decisions through robust analysis, due diligence, and wellcrafted business cases. You’ll dive into financial feasibility and discounted cash flow modelling, support negotiations and contract processes, and work with a broad network of government and private sector stakeholders. With regular exposure to executivelevel decision making, this role offers the chance to grow your impact, sharpen your commercial judgement, and contribute to projects that matter. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Contribute to the identification of acquisition and disposal opportunities informed by planning policies, community needs, and market trends to help shape program direction Assist Acquisition and Disposal Managers with complex opportunity assessments, including preparing opportunity assessments and contributing to highlevel and detailed business cases Undertake stakeholder liaison and contribute to initial discussions on potential acquisitions, project ideas, and related opportunities Identify, build, and maintain relationships with existing and new government and private sector business partners and other key program stakeholders Coordinate and facilitate consultants engaged in investigations and due diligence for proposed acquisitions and disposals Review and undertake financial feasibility work, including financial analysis, discounted cash flow modelling, and risk analysis Present outcomes and recommendations to the Executive and Board About you: Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to ensure clear and concise information is delivered to stakeholders Proven ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions to problems Demonstrated property research skills Demonstrated experience with project feasibility assessment tools such as financial analysis methods, discounted cash flow modelling and risk analysis for land development and/or built form projects Ability to manage relationships to ensure all relevant stakeholders concerned with a property acquisition are informed and consulted appropriately A relevant tertiary qualification that assists with the acquisition and disposal of land, such as Property Valuation Experience in an organisation with similar values and ethics to DevelopmentWA is highly desirable.
