We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and people with disabilities.What Your Day Could Include:Personal Care: Supervising showers or baths, toileting, applying and removing compression garments, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, assisting with eating, transferring clients in and out of bed/chair/car, and mobility assistance where safe to do so.Domestic Assistance: Housework, spring cleaning, laundry, making beds, tidying rooms, storing clothes, cleaning wardrobes, meal preparation, light gardening, and caring for indoor plants.Social & Emotional Support: Helping clients stay connected through technology and engaging activities.Transportation: Shopping, medical visits, and supporting community connections.Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive pay: $32.86 per hour + 11.5% superannuation- Tax-Free Benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a., Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax)- Travel Reimbursement: 99c per km- Equipment: Smartphone and specific tools provided- Support: Full rostering and administrative support for appointment management- Professional Development: Training and career growth opportunities- Parental Leave: 9 weeks paid (for eligible applicants)Qualifications and Requirements:Prior experience in community or residential care, including domestic assistance roles.Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care, with transcripts of completed modules.Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.Valid Australian driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.Comfortable traveling up to 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach clients.Full COVID-19 vaccinations are highly desirable.Availability to work 20-30 hours per fortnight initially, with potential to increase.Availability for early shifts starting from 7:00 AM and across weekdays, with a minimum of three weekdays.Optional but highly desirable: availability for alternating weekends.If you want to join a team that values kindness, supports growth, and makes a real impact, we want to hear from you!Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and provide evidence of right to work in Australia.For inquiries, accessibility needs, or other considerations, please contact (email protected)Ready to make a difference?
