We are seeking a Permanent Registered Midwife to join our Outpatients Maternity Service in North West Tasmania. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across both North West Regional Hospital and Mersey Community hospital, providing antenatal care and postnatal care in the community.
Our service covers the full scope of maternity care, including antenatal clinics, parenting education classes, pregnancy and postnatal assessment services, a 4-bed birthing suite, 20 bed inpatient ward, 8 bed special care nursery and extended care midwifery services for women when they discharge home after birth.
The successful candidate will also offer women dedicated lactation services and connections through our allied health colleagues for social work, women's health physio and diabetes services and perinatal mental health.
