About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will oversee on-site engineering functions through subordinate teams, obtain relevant design information, monitor quality and quantities, coordinate activities, and ensure project completion is on time.
The successful candidate will manage on-site engineering functions through subordinates, which may include Project Engineers, and/or Cost/Planning Engineers. They will also be responsible for obtaining relevant design parameter information for incorporation into detailed designs and construction specifications.
This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to programme workloads and provide technical and administrative guidance to the engineering staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities.

In this role, you will participate in planning future requirements, including machine tools, ancillary equipment, major plant, and labour. You will also direct site surveys and preparatory work prior to construction.

Requirements
This role requires a degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Construction Management. You should have experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this position.
