This role involves working in the Modelling and Funding Policy team, supporting economic modelling, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making to shape early childhood education policy in South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

* Maintaining and sourcing relevant data assets across the work program.
* Conducting discrete data analysis related to budget and financial modelling, local provision planning, market analysis, and policy scenario analysis.
* Utilizing and interpreting outputs from the statewide preschool provision model.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

* Technical proficiency in modelling, data analytics and reporting, with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel and coding (R strongly preferred).
* Effective communication skills to deliver complex data and analysis in both written and verbal formats.
* Autonomy with experience to work under limited direction and exercise independent judgement.

This is a full-time 2-year long term contract role (1.0 FTE) with potential to be made ongoing. Remuneration: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 (1.0 FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.
