An exciting opportunity has arisen for a **Commercial Analyst** to support our _Electrophysiology (EP) and Heart Failure (HF)_ business units based in our head office at **Macquarie Park.**
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing high level decision support, reporting, forecasting and analysis for both EP & HF Divisions in ANZ.
This role is critical to enable the leadership team to make data-based decision making and execute on overall commercial strategy.
**Main responsibilities include**:
- Managing the analysis and communication of financial results for the divisions
- Executing forecasting process to support revenue recognition analysis and estimated earnings forecast
- Owning the ANZ Market Model and working with Business Managers to gain alignment with APAC and GMI ahead of rolling LBE cycles
- Supporting and driving annual operating plan process
- Developing and assisting the commercial business to prepare annual territory plans including incentive calculations
- Sales reporting and analysis from top level reports down to account analysis
- Full Divisional P&L Analysis and helping to drive efficiencies
- Providing support in developing new strategies
- Assisting in implementation, monitoring and analysis of Power BI Dashboards, SAP and Business Objects Reporting
- Preparing of presentations and participating in quarterly business reviews/LBEs
- Managing quarterly preparation of incentive calculations and monthly accruals
- Analysing, preparing and submitting business cases to support Division strategies
- Analysing and preparig Price change submissions
**What sets you apart?**
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
- CPA/CA qualified or working towards this qualification is essential
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex, global environment
- Power BI and Business Warehouse experience is essential
- ERP System knowledge (preferably SAP) is essential
- Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the medical device industry will be highly regarded
- Effective communication that is highly engaging and influential
