We are looking for people who are:Independent and self-reliant: As solo Flight Attendants, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight.Customer-focused: As a solo Flight Attendant, you will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalized service, whilst traveling to some of Australia's most unique destinations.Detail-oriented and safety-conscious: You will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations.The role offers a great work/life balance along with competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home.Some of the duties you will perform are equipment/security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food & beverage service, cleaning duties as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin, on your own.It is a rewarding position where every day is different coupled with a great team spirit.Be 18 years of age or overHave Australian Citizenship or Permanent ResidencyBe no taller than 173 cmHold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateBe able to demonstrate that you have:Completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, orWorked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orWorked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, orCompleted the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security checkHave experience in customer serviceBe able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)Be flexible; working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periodsHave a high level of personal presentationHave a natural willingness to please and care for peopleExtensive training will be provided – flying experience is not required.You must apply via our website and complete ALL of the screening questions to be considered.
