About the Role:The client is seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Contractor to join their team in North Sydney. This role is pivotal in driving business growth across Australia and New Zealand. If you are passionate about sales and technology, with a proven track record in business development or sales, we want to hear from you. The role is urgent as the previous employee has already left, and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate Sales Pipeline: Identify and engage new business opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
Marketing Inbound Leads: Follow up on and nurture inbound leads generated by marketing efforts.
Prospecting: Actively prospect new businesses and contacts to expand Infoblox's reach in the market.
Lead Follow-Up: Efficiently follow up on leads and sales to resellers to drive conversions and meet sales targets.
Tradeshow Participation: Attend relevant industry tradeshows and events to engage prospects and expand network.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in business development or sales. Previous experience in tech sales is highly desirable.
Sales Skills: Proven track record of successfully generating leads and converting them into business opportunities.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Tech-Savvy: Understanding of the technology sales is a plus.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment. Occasional travel (up to once per month) may be required to locations such as Brisbane, Melbourne, or Canberra.
