About the Role:
This is a position that combines installation and servicing of accessibility lifts with fabrication in-house.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in setup, commissioning, and maintenance of stair lifts, home elevators, and wheelchair platform lifts
* Conduct routine and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on installed units
* Fabricate and modify lift components using cutting, welding, and fitting techniques
* Read and interpret technical drawings and installation schematics accurately
* Maintain high standards of safety and compliance
* Work independently and collaboratively with team members and supervisors
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction
About You:
We are seeking a hands-on technician with a strong mechanical or fabrication background who excels in a diverse role. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a welder, fitter, fabricator, or mechanical technician
* Strong Tig Welder skills
* Skills in metalwork, assembly, and workshop practices
* Ability to manage own time effectively and take initiative
* High attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
