About the role
Join Menarock LIFE' as a Clinical Manager for our Aged Care facility in Camberwell, VIC. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the clinical care and nursing practice of our residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. What you'll be doing
1. Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team, supporting the delivery of resident-focused, evidence-based care
2. Develop, implement and continuously improve clinical policies, procedures and practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
3. Monitor and review clinical indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective strategies
4. Foster a positive, collaborative team culture, providing mentoring and professional development support to nurses and care staff
5. Build strong relationships with residents, families and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless, holistic care
6. Contribute to the facility's strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the management team
What we're looking for
1. Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience, including substantial experience in an aged care setting
2. Proven track record in leading and managing a clinical team, with excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
3. Comprehensive understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards and best practice clinical governance
4. Proficient in using data and analytics to drive quality improvement and clinical excellence
5. Passionate about person-centred care and committed to enhancing the wellbeing and independence of older adults
6. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and time management capabilities
