ConsMin produces some of the world's highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407 km south‐east of Port Hedland. Description
Reporting to the Team Leader, the successful applicant will be required to:
* Operate equipment safely in line with ConsMin policies and procedures as well as advocating safe working practices in your crew
* Operate rigid haul trucks, predominantly CAT 777F/G and CAT 789's
* Be self‐motivated and contribute to the team culture by expressing a positive attitude towards a long‐term career in open‐pit mining
* Show high levels of teamwork by liaising with other mining personnel to ensure ConsMin achieves production targets
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Minimum valid C Class Driver's License
* National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
* The right to work in Australia (Permanent resident or Citizen)
* Minimum 1‐2 years' experience operating the above machinery in an open‐pit production mining environment
* Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures
* Strong communication skills
