Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer for a short-term contract to provide critical networking support and solutions. This is a fully remote engagement, requiring an immediate start.
Base pay range
A$120.00/hr - A$140.00/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced expertise in HP Aruba networking, including configuration, switching, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve stability and performance of legacy network infrastructure.
- Configure and maintain RADIUS / 802.1X authentication for secure network access.
- Support Azure integration in the context of network and authentication solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with the technical team and document solutions, configurations, and recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven hands-on experience with HP Aruba networking technologies.
- Robust knowledge of 802.1X / RADIUS authentication protocols.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure in a networking or security context.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- Experience managing or decommissioning legacy network hardware.
- Consultancy or short-term remediation experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Aruba Certified Switching Professional, CCNP ).
- Duration: 3 months (initial engagement, potential extension subject to requirements).
- Start: Immediate / ASAP
- Location: Fully remote (contractor to provide own laptop; secure jumpbox access provided)
