Assisting the current Clinical Director, you will lead a team of local radiologists, mammographers, sonographers and breast care nurses who have chosen to specialize in breast imaging.
The Geelong Breast Clinic is a comprehensivededicated breast imaging centre located next to SJOG Hospital at 88 Myers St Geelong.
Offering state of the art equipment provides all breast imaging including mammography, tomography, breast ultrasound, CEM with CEM biopsy and all breast core and vacuum biopsy procedures, including SAVISCOUT localisation.
Our busy breast MRI service is in the adjacent SJOG Hospital and includes MR guide biopsy.
In addition, Lake Imaging is the sole accredited auspice for Breast Screen Victoriafor the southwest part of Victoria.
Geelong and Southwest Breast Screen provides screening and assessment for over 27,000 women per annum.
With the primary Assessment Centre close to the Geelong Breast Clinic, satellite screening centres are located at Ocean Grove, Warrnambool and Portland.
GBC has a strongcommitment to education and teaching, offering breast fellowship positions annually for advanced subspecialty training in all aspects of breast imaging.
Collaborative research projects have included work with the Andrew Love Cancer Centre University Hospital Geelong, Deakin University and Breast Screen Victoria.
