McLean Packing Staff Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production. The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a skilled individual to fill this role in a full-time capacity, based in Pittsworth, QLD.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting on MOBA egg grading machines and related equipmentPerform tasks such as calibration and adjustments to ensure machines run efficientlyIdentify and implement improvements to optimise equipment performance and reduce downtimeRespond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs to minimise disruptionsSupport safety inspections and help identify and reduce machinery risksKeep accurate maintenance records, including parts used and work completedManage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement as neededTrain operators and staff on machine use, maintenance, and safety proceduresWork closely with the maintenance and production teams on repairs and improvement projectsProgram and configure PLCs and HMIs to control and monitor egg grading systemsLiaise with equipment suppliers to integrate automated systems smoothly.
About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualificationProven experience with PLC programming and complex machinery maintenanceSkilled in developing preventative maintenance plansStrong communicator, with the ability to write reports and liaise with various teamsExcellent planning and time management skillsConfident using a range of computer programsExperience with MOBA machinery
