You work well both independently and in teams, showing initiative and adaptability. You can manage clients, staff, and resources efficiently in a high-volume environment. Your experience with complex laboratory facilities and commitment to high service standards in research, clinical, or teaching labs, along with your analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly in a PC2 environment, will enable you to contribute meaningfully.You will possess:A relevant degree with at least four years of experience or equivalent, in a research, clinical, or teaching laboratory environment;Proven expertise in microscopy, microbiology, molecular biology, tissue culture, and biotechnology;Experience in chemical safety management, including disposal, dangerous goods, medicines, and chemicals of security concern;Knowledge of Risk Group 2 containment, legislation, and regulations relevant to laboratory operations, health and safety, and Australian Standards;Understanding of Biosafety (OGTR) and Biosecurity regulations, Australian laboratory standards, and experience in risk management; andCurrent Queensland Driver’s Licence.UniSC is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
