We're looking for dedicated
Assistant Directors
to join our Centre Leadership Teams. As an Assistant Director at St Nicholas, you will play a key leadership role by guiding daily operations, nurturing team culture, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality early education. You will work closely with your Centre Director and be supported in your leadership journey.
The Assistant Director will assist and support the Centre Director in management tasks and lead educators towards quality performance in all aspects at St Nicholas.
This role is being offered on a
Permanent Full-Time
basis, located at Gillieston Heights, Chisholm, Singleton and Muswellbrook Centres. These extra roles have been created to strenghten our current leadership teams.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
* Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and training
* Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
* Demonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCSS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance
* Demonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Learning Years Framework with the centre curriculum
* Previous experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education Centre
QUALIFICATIONS
* Diploma in Children's Services
or
Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children's Education and care Authority
* Working With Children Check verification number
* Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
* DEC approved child protection training certificate
