Key Responsibilities:

* Create compelling content for web, social media, and print platforms that brings environmental initiatives to life.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive community participation and engagement.
* Support media relations and contribute to Council's broader communications efforts.
* Analyse engagement data and prepare reports to inform strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft clear and engaging messages that resonate with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will have:
* Solid experience and/or a relevant degree in communications, engagement, or environmental storytelling.
* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
* Digital content creation expertise, including photography and video production, to bring environmental initiatives to life.
* Strong interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration effectively across teams and building meaningful relationships.
* Strategic thinking and project management abilities, allowing juggling multiple priorities and delivering impactful campaigns.
