We are looking for an experienced Video Producer to take ownership of video production and creative execution within our agency.
Last Night Media is a video creative agency specialising in ads for mobile games, apps, and tech brands.
All production is handled 100% in-house. We develop and execute high-performing video ads across formats including short-form social, TikTok and Reels, UGC-style content, scripted skits, and high-end commercial productions for global clients.
Our work spans the full creative lifecycle - from strategy and concept development through scripting, filming, and post-production - with a single goal: producing video creatives that drive measurable results and scale marketing campaigns.

Role Overview
This role is suited to an experienced Video Producer with a strong scriptwriting background who can take ownership of video productions from concept through delivery.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience producing video content in an agency, freelance, or in-house environment
* A strong creative instinct with the ability to develop engaging concepts and scripts that are funny, punchy and high‐performers in social ad campaigns.
* Confidence working within a team and strong leadership skills
* Excellent project management and client communication skills
* Deep understanding of pacing, hooks, and storytelling for short‐form performance ads
* A genuine interest in games, social platforms, and emerging video formats (TikTok, Reels, YouTube, short‐form ads)
Responsibilities
* Own project timelines, budgets, and delivery to ensure on‐time, high‐quality outputs.
* Lead pre‐production: planning, scheduling, call sheets, locations, permits, and logistics.
* Manage on‐set operations, including producer duties and script supervision.
* Develop project briefs and work in close collaboration with the filming and editing teams.
* Source, negotiate, and book talent; coordinate with agencies and contractors.
* Manage talent communications, releases, and compliance requirements.
* Act as primary client contact from kickoff to final delivery; provide clear, proactive updates and manage feedback.
Scriptwriting
* Write high-performing short‐form ad scripts for paid social and mobile game marketing.
* Craft strong hooks, clear value propositions, and conversion‐focused CTAs.
* Adapt tone and structure to platform best practices (UGC, direct response, variations).
* Iterate scripts based on performance data and client feedback.
* Reference existing work to match brand style and creative direction.

* Salary range: $70,000–$85,000 + Super + profit share bonuses (after 12 months)
* Full‐time, in‐office role (Monday‐Friday) with our 8‐person team based in Woolloongabba
* Brisbane / South East Queensland residents only - no interstate or international applicants
