About The Role
Exclusive opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the Minto site to commence ASAP.
You will work 7am-3pm Monday–Friday (some OT required occasionally).
Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on all mechanical machinery within the factory and shutdown maintenance.
Ensure all relevant procedures and safe work method statements are completed before maintenance tasks commence.
Fault-find and troubleshoot to limit downtime and improve the operational effectiveness of the factory.
Apply welding skills (MIG, TIG) where required.
Use condition monitoring and the maintenance management system SAP.
Adhere to safe work practices and identify hazards, reporting incidents promptly.
What You Bring To The Role
Mechanical trade licence or similar (Boilermaker, Plant Mechanic, HV Diesel Mechanic) with prior experience as a fitter in a manufacturing environment.
Previous exposure to industrial manufacturing with routine and breakdown experience.
Experience in confined spaces and WAH – preferred.
Strong safety focus.
Proficiency in SAP maintenance system.
First Aid, Forklift, and Elevated Work Platform certifications are desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A hands-on attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
