We're hiring Male Youth Disability Support Workers in Enfield, SA to support a young male client who need positive role models in his everyday life.ResponsibilitiesBuild rapport and foster engagement through shared activitiesAssist with routines, learning, and community participationPromote wellbeing, hygiene, nutrition, and social skillsProvide therapeutic, safe responses to behavioural escalationMaintain household organisation and safety standardsAdminister medications and complete shift reportingRequirementsStrong interpersonal skills and youth-focused communicationAbility to remain calm, confident, and solutions-focusedReliability, integrity, and consistent professional boundariesPhysically capable of managing risk situationsWhat we're looking forCertificate III or higher in Disability, Youth Work, or Community ServicesExperience supporting young people with behavioural or mental health challengesGreat communication and problem-solving skillsValid South Australian Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleAt Connecting Families, we're more than just a support service — we're a team of people who truly care.
