Architecture Manager Opportunity!
**Your new role**
The Architecture Manager provides leadership of design services for digital projects, partnering and collaborating to implement sustainable improvements to solve the challenges faced by the health service and our consumers.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology Operations, the role is responsible for comprehending technology architecture and design requirements for large-scale and complex digital projects, including integration of technologies across a broad range of architecture domains, to ensure robust solutions are delivered that meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
This role will require expert knowledge and experience to lead the design, development and implementation of end-to-end solution architecture; ability to influence decision-making and lead engagement; and the skills to guide the development of implementation of new digital capabilities to support Health ambitions.
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Provide authoritative, expert and timely advice to the Senior Director Technology Operations, Executive Director of Digital and Information, executive and senior management, and other stakeholders in relation to digital architecture, to ensure the successful planning, delivery and sustainability of digital initiatives.
- Lead the development and ongoing optimisation of a local architecture practice, architecture artefacts and processes to ensure sustainable delivery of digital architecture services to the health service and alignment with Queensland Health and Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
- Lead and manage the successful delivery of architecture services for digital programs and projects, including complex and high-risk digital projects through to minor initiatives, ensuring desired outcomes are achieved and robust solutions are delivered that meet stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Lead the provision of expert and timely advice to inform the planning and delivery of digital initiatives, including the identification of architecture artefacts, architecture resource requirements and scheduling of architecture activities to achieve required approvals, meet milestones and quality expectations.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Five or more years' experience in leading the delivery of digital architecture and delivering services to large, complex organisations preferably in the healthcare sector.
- A relevant degree or tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science would be well regarded.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Visio, would be well regarded.
