We are hiring immediately a
Sales Consultant
to join our team of experts in QLD (based in Brisbane or Gladstone) that will help us to power progress for our customers.
About This Job
This role is a key driver position to maintain, develop and grow revenue and awareness of our Power Generation and Temperature Control products/solutions throughout the QLD Mining and Oil & Gas arena – Gladstone, Brisbane to Bowen Basin.
The person assigned this role must maintain the highest level of customer service, relationship building and strong networking skills with both external and internal customers.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Manage existing key clients, develop new business opportunities and promote awareness of Aggreko products and complete service offering
* Manage multi-location customer relationships using our local business presence to create increased business
* Collaborate with the East Coast Mining Sales teams to implement key development strategies and actions and advise on any new product opportunities
* Work closely with the Aggreko Engineering team and National Projects Operations team on major opportunities and projects
* Represent Aggreko professionally at local networking industry functions and exhibitions.
* Deliver and exceed agreed annual revenue budget and ensure revenue recoveries are maintained to agreed levels
The knowledge and skills you'll need to be successful:
* Ability to relate at all levels and influence key stakeholders in decision making processes
* Demonstrated selling or sales management experience, ideally in a technical or industrial environment
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft products especially with PowerPoint presentations, Excel and CRM, and confident in providing monthly reporting and managing forecast amendments
* Market driven professional with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
* A self starter with the ability to work both autonomously or with a team
* Experience in the mining environment with Rental or Capital sales will be highly regarded
Other Information You Should Know
This role requires travel throughout QLD region in particular from Brisbane to the Bowen Basin – some overnight stays and sporadic interstate travel may be required.
It is essential that to hold a current and valid driving license.
