This newly created role will shape the future of Oreana's procurement function. Working closely with the construction leadership team, you will take ownership of supplier relationships across key categories, embed national agreements, and build the systems and processes that ensure materials and services are delivered consistently, cost-effectively, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic sourcing across core building material categories;
* Consolidate supplier relationships into scalable national agreements;
* Develop procurement processes and reporting systems to enable real-time data and decision making;
* Partner closely with project delivery teams, ensuring reliable supply for townhouse construction;
* Mitigate supply chain risk and drive commercial outcomes that protect project margins; and
* Represent procurement across the group, working collaboratively with development, construction, and commercial leaders.
About You
* Proven procurement experience within residential construction or building products;
* Strong supplier management and negotiation expertise, ideally with exposure to SME suppliers as well as larger national providers;
* Track record of securing cost efficiencies while building long-term supplier partnerships;
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance strategic initiatives and hands-on delivery;
* Collaborative and visible leader who thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; and
* Comfortable being on site regularly and engaging directly with project teams.
