About the Role:
We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and capable Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. This is the ideal opportunity for a hands-on chef who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is looking to take the next step in their culinary career. You'll play a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, delivering delicious food quickly, and mentoring junior team members along the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality, great-tasting food with consistency, speed, and attention to presentation
Take ownership of your section, ensuring it runs efficiently during peak service periods
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, including prep, menu development, and workflow coordination
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards, completing regular cleaning and equipment checks
Mentor and support junior chefs and kitchen hands, creating a positive and supportive team culture
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and ordering
Maintain a calm, upbeat, and productive attitude during high-pressure service
About You:
Previous experience as a CDP or a comparable position within a high-volume or fast-paced venue (fast-casual or high-end fast food is ideal)
Experience in amusement parks, events, or entertainment venues is a bonus
Strong leadership and communication skills
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a love of working under pressure
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Availability to work a rotating roster including mainly days, with some evenings required
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred
