Our client is seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join their fun and creative business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in event management, marketing, and promotional campaigns while immersing yourself in the vibrant world of the retail industry. You will be joining a leader in their retail category who offer an expansive range of products to customers of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of planning, organising, and executing events from start to finish, ensuring they align with our brand and business objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote events, utilising both above the line (traditional media) and below the line (digital and grassroots) marketing channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute creative promotional campaigns, maximising brand exposure and driving attendance.
- Leverage your passion for the arts and creativity to curate memorable and engaging event experiences that captivate our audience.
- Utilise your strong communication skills to create compelling event-related content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases. Copy-writing experience a must
- Monitor and analyse event performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve future events and optimise marketing efforts.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of its dynamics and trends.
- Proven experience in managing events from conception to completion, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event planning, execution, and marketing, with a track record of successful event outcomes.
- Extensive knowledge of promotional campaign management, utilising both above the line and below the line marketing strategies.
- A genuine passion for the arts, creativity, and the ability to infuse these qualities into your work.
- Possession of a Marketing/Communications qualification, showcasing a solid foundation in marketing principles and strategies.
This is a full-time position (5 days a week) office based.
