DUTY MANAGER
Looking to step into a busy, energetic venue where no two days look the same This is a great role for a hands on leader who thrives in fast paced hospitality and enjoys working with a young, lively team.
About the role
This is a full time Duty Manager position within a large coastal venue offering bistro dining, a busy bar, a beer garden, gaming facilities and regular functions. You will be one of the leaders on the floor, responsible for keeping service sharp, the team motivated and guests happy from open to close.
What you will be doing
* Leading a team of around 40 staff across bar, floor and service
* Running shifts with confidence including opening and closing
* Coaching and developing a younger team to lift service standards
* Ensuring venue presentation is always on point
* Managing customer interactions professionally including RSA enforcement when required
* Supporting events and functions throughout the year
What we are looking for
* Previous leadership experience in a busy hospitality venue
* Strong F&B focus with the ability to lead by example
* Confident communicator who can build rapport with staff and guests
* Someone who enjoys working in a lively team environment
* Ability to work nights, weekends and peak trade periods
* Full working rights
