About Us: Sundown Villas is a well-maintained residential community committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and high-quality living environment for all residents. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general maintenance and repairs across the property (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) - Big jobs are done by contractors.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and fix issues before they escalate
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
* Assist with basic landscaping and outdoor upkeep as needed
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role
* Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
* Trade certification (desirable but not required)
* Previous experience working in residential communities or property management
