Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term contract of 4 months, on a permanent part-time basis.
As a Dietitian at Mater Health, you will deliver comprehensive, high-quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetics services to our patients.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, which will rotate through a range of clinical areas, whilst contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice models of dietetic care. Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of nutrition care to adults and paediatrics across a range of clinical areas, including both public and private inpatients and outpatients. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in professional mentoring and peer group supervision.
About you
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
* Comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics service in a hospital setting and the ability to manage caseloads across a broad range of clinical areas
* Commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice and professional development
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant must also have:
* Minimum of one-year full time equivalent clinical experience
