Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the Finance function in the APAC region. The successful candidate will be a strategic advisor, providing constructive challenge and identifying areas for performance improvement.
They will work closely with the Global CFO and regional leadership team to streamline finance processes and roll out best practices across the region. This includes leveraging our operational hub in India and implementing robust commercial expectations to maximise profitability and optimise working capital.
The Regional CFO will also be responsible for guiding members of the regional Finance team, encouraging their personal development and building a pipeline of talent through global programmes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as strategic advisor on regional financial performance to the Regional Managing Partner and Regional COO.
2. Monitor and review the financial performance of the region, presenting key highlights to the GCFO.
3. Strengthen performance across matter life cycle and implement robust commercial expectations within the region.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in running a finance function in the professional services industry, preferably with a multi-location remit within the APAC region.
They will have well-developed influencing and persuasion skills, good at building relationships at all levels, proactive, and highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
Awareness and knowledge of international tax issues would be an advantage, as well as sufficient technical knowledge and expertise in relation to IFRS, Solicitor Account Rules, and Audit requirements.
